The Date

We have a date!! The wedding is going to be Saturday, August 2nd at Christian Church of San Angelo in San Angelo, Texas! Make plans now to attend -- we will block some rooms at local hotels and get you the information soon! Here are some of the engagement pictures we did Tuesday evening.

CONGRATULATIONS JASON AND CARA!!

Well, the couple lovingly known as 'Cheese and Boo' at our house, is officially engaged. It all happened Saturday night, May 24th. I thought I would create a blog to share the details with friends and family -- most of whom haven't even seen the two together as a couple!! I will do my best to update the blog with details as we have them regarding the wedding. Maybe I can get Cara to blog soon about the engagement story. Jason did an amazing job!!!! He set up a reception for them at Baker Street -- the place where they met. That's where all these pics were taken. Enjoy!

When Cara and Jason arrived, Cara was shocked to see everyone waiting to congratulate her!! She hadn't seen Mom and Dad yet. Jason called them early in the week to tell them the plan and they were thrilled to be able to come and celebrate with all of us.

Proud Mom and Dad waited patiently for Cara to realize they were there -- they were so happy and excited to surprise her and to see Jason and Cara together!! :)
